Position: Finance Officer

Location: Cardiff
Type: Full-Time, 37 hours per week (Flexible)
Salary: £24,500 - £26,900 per annum

Our client is seeking a confident and dynamic candidate to come in and join their expanding team. Working in a diverse, collaborative environment, they are seeking a talented Finance Officer to join their finance team.

Your Role:

As a Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing their financial operations and ensuring the integrity of financial information whilst working closely supporting operational teams and residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reconciliations: Ensuring client accounts are reconciled accurately.

Budget Management: Monitoring and controlling budgets to ensure the effective allocation of resources.

Accounts Management: Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth analyses to inform strategic decision-making.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with other departments to support financial planning and organisational goals.

What our client is looking for:

Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Ideally AAT qualified or studying.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.

Skills: Proficiency in financial software, excellent analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Especially in Microsoft Excel.

Attitude: A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
